Pendant lamp Nosto was inspired by an idea of hoisting liquid glass like boats are hoisted from the water; I wanted to create a feeling of molten glass being lifted. The weight of the glass is held by sailing ropes, which minimizes the coldwork needed for the glass.
Nosto was chosen to Protoshop exhibition at the Habitare, largest Nordic interior decoration and design fair. It has also been featured in September Issue 2015, and January 2016, of Avotakka magazine. It was also selected to the New Glass Review 37, in 2016. In 2018, Nosto was awarded in the distinguished Red Dot Award 2018.
Nosto is blown against a supporting mold, which gives each pendant an individual look.
Unique pair of earrings from fused glass beads with a silver hook. Tear-drop glass beads form a raceme ('terttu' in Finnish) looking shape. Glass color: amber, blue, white, or clear.

Nosto table light shares the lamp shade shape with Nosto pendant, although up-side-down. Each lamp is unique, as the shades are blown against a supporting mold. Mouthblown in Suomenlinna, Helsinki.

Created in a glass art residency in Bardidvarnuk, Hungary, the art series presents planets which have become uninhabitable except for one. The rough, stormy surface effect is made using self-made glass-ceramics powders.

The pendant hides a secret: it is made of photochromic glass, and it reveals its message under sunlight. The message fades away when the glass piece is kept in darkness or in ordinary electric light.

Veli is a pendant light that can adapt to changing color schemes of homes. Its design assures that there is no dazzling effect, the light bulb is easy to change, and that it can be updated to new colors just by changing a new colored cork filter, without even unmounting the lamp.
